Your Workleap LMS platform can be integrated with your Intercom account. Intercom is a third-party application that allows your students to contact you via instant chat.
You can therefore add the same kind of built-in support system that Workleap LMS offers to its clients, but branded to your colors and available for your own clients.
Who can contact me with Intercom chat?
When you integrate Intercom into your platform, only students will be able to click on the chat badge at the bottom right of their screen. You can then interact with them from the Intercom site.
Please note: the Intercom badge displayed on a platform reaches the Workleap LMS support team when you are connected as:
An administrator
A teacher
A provider manager
A contact person

Creating an Intercom account
To integrate instant chat into your Workleap LMS platform, you must first create and configure your own Intercom account.
Note: Intercom is a paid service add-on. Those fees are not included as part of Workleap LMS's offer.
Workleap LMS x Intercom integration
Once your Intercom subscription is created and operational, you can now proceed with the Workleap LMS integration. To add the chat badge at the bottom right of your platform for your students, go to Configuration > Advanced configuration > Intercom, in the main menu.
App ID
As requested in Workleap LMS, you will need to provide your Intercom account ID, available in the address bar of your browser, when on Intercom.
Intercom account validation
Finally, depending on the configuration of your Intercom account, enter your identity verification code to complete the integration into Workleap LMS. This code is available in your Intercom settings.
