Zapier integration

Creating automations between Workleap LMS (Didacte) and thousands of applications

Updated over 6 months ago

Didacte has been rebranded under Workleap LMS and is now part of the Workleap product line!

Be advised that our Zapier integration still goes under the legacy name of Didacte

This feature has been deprecated as of October 2023 and is only available on legacy plans.

For users on current plans, this feature is no longer supported.

Automate your marketing processes with Zapier, which allows you to trigger certain actions in response to an event on your platform.

What is Zapier?

Zapier is a system that facilitates automation by connecting over 5000 web applications. In other words, you could save a lot of time by creating a "Zap" that links Didacte to external systems.

Each time an event occurs on Didacte (trigger), the information is sent to Zapier which then forwards it to the applications, on which actions are initiated.

Here are the events that can be used to trigger a Zap :

  • Publishing / Unpublishing a course

  • Enrollment in a course

  • Completion of a course

  • Deactivation / Reactivation of a user

  • Invitation of a user

  • Creation of a user account (when completed by the user)

  • Modification of a user

The actions can then be used both in managing your business (Google Spreadsheet, Slack, PipeDrive, etc.) and in following up with your students (CovertKit, Outlook, ActiveCampaing, MailChimp, etc.).

If you don't already have a Zapier account, you will need to create one from their website first.

Connect Workleap LMS (Didacte) to Zapier

In the menu, go to the Configuration > Advanced Configuration section of your Workleap LMS (Didacte) platform and choose the API Keys tab. You will then need to click on the Add API Key button in the upper right corner of the screen.

You can name your API key anything you want, but it is recommended that you use "Zapier" to remember its purpose.

Once created, you will receive a key of several characters. You can write it down in a safe place, or go back to the API Keys section to look it up if you need to.

The rest of the connection will take place on the Zapier website, in your account.

Go to the My Apps section and click on the Add connection button in the upper right corner of the screen. You can then search for Didacte in the list. By clicking on the application, you will be asked to add the API key you just created, which will complete the connection between Zapier and Didacte.

Create a Zap via the Workleap LMS interface

Once your account is activated, you have two ways to create Zaps between Workleap LMS (Didacte) and other applications:

  • via the Workleap LMS (Didacte) interface

  • via the Zapier website

In the menu, go to Configuration > Advanced configuration of your Workleap LMS platform and choose the Integrations tab. You can then click on Zapier in the list.

There you will find 5 Zap templates that you can use by clicking on the "Use this Zap" button.

This will open the Zapier interface, where you can configure your Zap.

To see even more suggestions, visit Didacte's page on Zapier!

Create a custom Zap

There are obviously many more integrations possible between Workleap LMS (Didacte) and other applications thanks to Zapier. If you don't find an interesting option among our templates, you can create a custom Zap.

Still in your Zapier account, click on the Create Zap button in the upper right corner of the screen. There you will be able to check Didacte, and set up a custom Zap with the application of your choice.

Don't forget to test the sequence to make sure that your Zap has been configured properly before going online!

Don't hesitate to contact us if you need support or would like to suggest new events to add. We are always happy to learn more about your projects and see how we can help you make them a success.
