Creating a training inside Didacte is easy, just follow these few steps and you will be up and ready in no time.

Creating a course

Under the "Manage Courses" section, click on "Create New Course".

Didacte offers you the possibility between 2 different types of courses:

"Online" and "In-Person"


Online courses are available at all times on your platform.

This approach represents the most straight forward educational strategy and can be setup in just minutes. Although it is necessary that your medias are created in advance, each course is autonomous and self-sufficient once published.

You can also add live video streams to your online courses. Benefiting from the same options as asynchronous online courses, this approach therefore combines all the benefits of asynchronous training, while allowing webinar broadcasting through a Youtube Live Integration.

Going beyond the standard offer of web trainings, Didacte empowers its customers with the ability to centralize their online and in-person courses under a single system.

In-person courses also benefit from the same asynchronous online course options and allows the creation of sessions registrations.

Let's go through each of the sections of the course creation process


Under this tab, you will be able to enter all the general information related to your course: the title, the short description (presented on the simplified course cards), the long description (presented within the course page), the duration, the trainer, the target audience, its objectives and the activation of automated certificate delivery (if applicable).

Among other things, you can preview the appearance of your certificate by clicking on the designated section.

The information in this section is intended to convince your prospect that your training meets their needs.


This is where the magic happens and you get to create your course plan.

You can first choose the learning approach that suits best the intent of your course

  • Linear Progression: Students will need to complete each lesson before gaining access to the next one. Once completed, each lesson will be accessible for your students to revisit in the desired order of their choice.
  • Non-Linear Progression: Students will be able to browse through lessons in the order they prefer. 

By dragging the lessons in the order you want, you can set up the structure of your training. It is important to include the lesson titles and save before adding content.

Once your structure is saved, by clicking on the pencil to the right side of each lesson, you will be able to integrate the appropriate content.

Access and pricing

The access and pricing section allows you, as the name suggests, to configure the selling price of your training. You will also be able to assign your course to different subscription plans, should you create any on your platform.

If you benefit from the advanced features included in our "Professionnal" or "Enterprise" plan, you will be able to choose between 3 different course access, public, by invitation and private courses.

The default courses are of public order. By Invitation courses are included in the advanced features and come in 2 ways: public or private.

By Invitation (public) courses will be visible on your platform, but with restricted access. The platform administrator will receive an access request notification to approve or reject every request initiated by members.

By Invitation (private) courses will not be listed on your platform. The administrator will have to manually enroll each participant so that they can access the content.

This section allows you to assign different categories to a training. Categories have a major impact on the customer experience since they act as search filters on your platform.

It is possible to assign a course to several categories, depending on your situation.

This section also allows you to assign professional credits or continuing education accreditation numbers to a course. A reference number may be added for the sake of compliance.

Once you have completed this section, you are now ready to publish your training.
