Didacte proposes a variation of 5 different levels of access to the users of your platform. These allow you to have control over the permissions and restrictions of each members, while giving you flexibility in its usage.


Each access level enjoys the benefits of its predecessor in addition to additional permissions.

The accesses are divided into 5 distinct levels:

  • Student
  • Teacher
  • Resource Person
  • Provider
  • Administrator

The Student

Representing the entry level on your platform, the student role has read-only permissions. It can only consult and register for public courses and apply for private/access-request course registrations.

The Teacher

Adding to the same permissions as the student, the teacher is assigned a first set of administrative permissions. As the name suggests, the teacher has the power to create and modify his own courses, thus not requiring the intervention of the administrator and enjoying full autonomy.

The teacher is permitted to determine the selling price of his courses and unpublish his content at any time

The teacher has access to a portion of the enrollments, completions and sales reports, scoped to the performance of the courses to which he is assigned.

The Resource Person

As Didacte allows the creation and management of your on site trainings, we have created a role that meets the specific needs of this type of training.

Although classroom courses have the same benefits as any online training, the addition of the session concept empowers our clients to offer multiple sessions of the same training, at different locations simultaneously. Since the designated trainer can only be present at one of these locations, it is possible to designate a resource person per session who will be responsible for registration and attendance management of the representation.

Resource persons can view the training content without having to register. They also have access to quiz/exams corrections of each participants attending the session to which he is assigned to.

The Provider

The "Provider"role allows an external trainer or content provider to use your platform as a distribution channel. Each provider is assigned a corporate section to put their general information and contacts.

The provider is responsible for one or more trainers. Benefiting from the same permissions as the teacher, the provider is given read and change permissions on courses under his supervision, in addition to consulting consolidated performance reports from his trainers.

Note: an external teacher can be defined as his own provider.

The Administrator

Representing the most powerful role on your platform, the administrator has full control and access to the platform and what it contains, such as:

  • Appearance Management
  • User Invitations
  • Manual Enrollments
  • Detailed Reports
  • Featured Course Management
  • Subscriptions Configuration
  • Activity History
  • Discount Coupons
  • Access Level Management
  • Even more...

Use caution when assigning the administrator role to a user. However, do not worry, even though an administrator can remove the administrator access from anyone he or she wants, the owner of the platform (the primary administrator generated when the platform is created) can not be removed by peers. Only our team can edit this title. We've got your back if needed.
